Sunday Snippets – A Catholic Carnival

Welcome to Sunday Snippets, RAnn’s meme hosted at This That and the Other Thing. Please join us and share your snippets for the week.

This week I wrote Thanksgiving – Prelude to Christmas, in which I answer the question of the week, albeit unknowingly,  What are you going to do for Advent?

In Sabbath Moments I wrote about St. Benedict’s advice to the monks on the interior disposition they should have during communal prayer.

If you participated in Matthew Warner’s “Read the Catechism in a Year” you already know that he will be repeating that venture again starting soon. He is also adding “Read the Gospels in a Year” using the Ignatius Study Bible.” Matthew is the founder of Flocknote and uses the technology to send out his daily notices containing the study topics. Go here to register so you will be put on the list. May we all have a fruitful Advent.
